We help our dancers grow, achieve and regularly perform!

Examinations & Class Awards

Dancers may participate in regulated ballet and modern dance exams, moving up through the grades of the Royal Academy of Dance ballet and ISTD modern syllabus each year.

Each exam is a rewarding and confidence building performance opportunity and dancers usually come out of the exam room wanting to do it all over again!

Exams help our dancers develop their technique and creativity while learning to trust themselves and work towards a goal.

Angela is a qualified and registered teacher with the RAD and the ISTD.

Performance Awards

The Performance awards is a global ballet programme, performed in over 18 countries worldwide, originating from the American Academy of Ballet in New York.

The programme consists of 12 levels of classical ballet. Children from age 6 upwards move up through the levels each year performing duets and solos in front of an audience of friends, family and an international judge from the AAB.

Each level is inspired by popular ballets like Swan Lake and Coppelia, giving dancers the opportunity to learn about ballet stories, fostering an appreciation and understanding of ballet as an art form.

Each child is awarded a bronze, silver or gold medal and certificate for their individual confidence, artistry and performance on stage, it is not a competition.

Senior dancers who excel may also be offered a scholarship to attend the AAB ballet Summer intensive where they travel to New York and receive training from dance professionals from around the globe.

Studio Shows

Every year, we perform our annual studio show in a professional theatre. Dancers showcase their technical and performance skills they've learned throughout the dance year.

The whole studio is invited to come together as a community to perform, including our Tiny dancers of 2.5 years old to our adult dancers.

Our last show in November 2024, was themed Ballet Stores and dancers performed excerpts inspired from classical ballet stories.
