At Herts Dance Studio, we are proud to be a Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) studio committed to guiding every dancer to reach their personal best through expert, high-quality training.
As students enter the Senior level, they begin to experience a deep sense of progress and pride as they move through the upper ballet grades. Pointe preparation and pointe work are introduced with care and intention, supported by participation in Intermediate Foundation classes. This structured approach ensures that dancers develop the technical strength and control required for safe, confident progression onto pointe shoes.
To complement their ballet training, Senior dancers are encouraged to take Contemporary dance classes designed to enhance versatility, creativity, and artistic expression. These classes strengthen the body, deepen musicality, and encourage students to explore their individuality through movement.
We are passionate about developing not only skilled dancers, but confident young people who are driven, expressive, and committed. Our Seniors are supported to set goals, work hard, and take pride in their progress, whether through regulated ballet exams or on stage in our annual show and Performance Awards.
Training takes place in our beautiful studios, fully equipped with mirrors and ballet barres, offering a focused and inspiring environment where artistry, discipline, and lifelong friendships flourish.

WHY DO WE OFFER A TWO WEEK TRIAL?
We know that starting a new class can feel intimidating and overwhelming.
Our two-week trial is designed to give your dancer the time and space to:
-
Settle in and feel comfortable in a new environment
-
Experience the structure, pace, and style of the class across more than one session
-
Begin building friendships and feeling part of the group
-
Explore whether this class truly resonates with them, without pressure
-
Grow confidence in their movement and themselves
It also gives you, as a parent, peace of mind knowing your child is in a welcoming, professional space where they’re supported as both a dancer and a young person.
We’re here to help them feel seen, inspired, and ready to thrive, and we’d love to welcome your family into our community.
