At HDS, we take pride in being a Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) ballet studio, dedicated to training our dancers to achieve their personal best. Our students experience a sense of accomplishment as they progress through their ballet grades each year.

At this level, pointe preparation and pointe work are introduced, with dancers encouraged to participate in Intermediate Foundation alongside their graded classes, ensuring a strong technical foundation.
​
To create versatile and well-rounded dancers, we also offer ISTD modern and contemporary dance. These styles not only provide opportunities for creative expression but also underpin and enhance ballet training, building strength, flexibility, and artistry.
​
We encourage our dancers to aim high, with opportunities to take regulated examinations in both ballet and modern, and to showcase their hard work and committment in our annual shows and Performance Awards.

Our beautiful studios, fitted with mirrors and ballet barres, provide the perfect environment for focused high quality training, artistic growth and fostering life long friendships.
