At HDS, we proudly offer Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) ballet classes and ISTD Modern Theatre dance classes.

Our Pre-Primary and Primary ballet classes introduce children to the RAD syllabus, blending foundational ballet techniques with imaginative activities that nurture numeracy, literacy, and social skills while building solid, unique friendships.
​
In our Modern Theatre dance classes, children explore the fundamentals of jazz and lyrical dance—the vibrant styles seen on stage and in the West End—building strength, flexibility, and musicality in a dynamic and engaging environment.
​
Students can participate in exams, awards, and our annual studio show, as well as showcase their progress during end-of-term watching weeks.
​
By the end of each term, children will have gained a strong foundation in ballet, jazz, and lyrical dance.​
